and at the end, the two main character escape the bombing and survive and everything (it’s about the Dresden bombing)
and then the narration tells us that the guy (it’s based on a true story apparently) goes back to England and then four months AFTER the war, crashes into the North Sea in his plane, while going back to Germany to be there...
